What is this?

Finn-tannlege runs a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://finn-tannlege.com/mcp. Once your assistant is connected, it can search the same directory as the search page with the tools below, and show you the clinics it finds with a link to each profile page.

tannlege_search

Searches for a dentist, orthodontist or emergency dentist by place, county (fylke), specialty, Helfo direct billing or emergency care. Put the request in your own words in query, e.g. "orthodontist in Bergen with a Helfo agreement", or use the filters fylke, spesialitet, helfo and akutt. The answer shows how the request was read, and each clinic has its name, address, contact details, Helfo status, emergency status and a link to its profile page.

tannlege_info

Fetches the full record of one clinic by organisation number (org_nr) or id: address, contact details, website, Helfo status, specialties, specialists, treatments, opening hours, the clinic's own description and its profile page. Emergency duty is shown only when it has a recorded source.

tannlege_stats

Counts of dental clinics in Norway: the total, per county (fylke), and how many have Helfo direct billing, belong to a chain, show emergency care or list a specialist.

tannlege_akutt

Finds an emergency dentist: clinics with an emergency duty that has a recorded source, or that say they take emergency patients, optionally in one county (fylke). The answer also has advice on the municipal out-of-hours dental service.

tannlege_kjeder

Lists the dental chains registered in the directory, each with its number of clinics.

Can the assistant book an appointment with the dentist?

No. Finn-tannlege does not book appointments and takes no payment. The assistant shows the clinic's contact details and profile page, and you make the appointment with the clinic yourself.

Does Finn-tannlege give dental advice?

No. The tools tell you which clinics exist, what they offer and how to reach them. Questions about treatment belong with the dentist.
